UXBRIDGE CRICKET CLUB

Due to bad wheather our last training session for the U9,U10 & U11 today has been called off.
Thanks to all the parents and coaches for their help through out the year

You can now purchase the new Uxbridge CC wristbands for the 2008 season.

These come in a choice of two colours - NAVY BLUE and MAROON and two sizes - KIDS and ADULTS.

The price of the wristbands are only £2.

Please contact Rob Darvill at robdarvill@aol.com or call 07940 187 543 to place your order, clearly stating the colour and size you require.

We only have a limited number of these wristbands at present so they will be sold on a first come first served basis. More can be ordered if required.

NOTE: The bands are DEBOSSED just like the LIVESTRONG bands. The lettering and clipart are recessed into the band. The white you see is ASH from the lasering process which will wear out in a week or so of normal wearing or can be cleaned out in a minute with a brush.

Senior nets will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6pm onwards throughout the 2008 season, starting from Thursday 10th April.

The culmination of over 18 months preparation
and liaison with Middlesex CCC'S David Holland
was reached earlier this week with the news that
Uxbridge Cricket Club, Cricket Section, has received
notification of approval of Clubmark Status from the ECB.
We are one of eighteen clubs in Middlesex to achieve this
recognition, which will hopefully open bring a number of benefits to the Club. More information to follow.

It is the players responsibilty to ensure that they make known to the captain their intentions for the coming weekend.

Selection takes place on Monday night at 8pm.

The following methods of availability may be used

1Tick up on the chart
2 Tell the capt the previous weekend when match fees are collected
3 Phone the capt
4 Internet

Remember, if you do not notify availability you run risk of being missed out.

We will need Umpires and Scorers for the forthcoming 2008 season. If you can help, or if you know someone who can, please contact the Clubhouse on 01895 237 571 or by informing any of the Club Captains (details for whom can be found by clicking on either the NEWS or CLUB OFFICIALS tabs on the website).

Please note that Selection takes place on Monday evenings. The captains are available at the
Club from 8.00pm onwards.

You can mark your availabity either online, on the Club Noticeboard or by telephoning your captain(s) and informing them of your availability.

SENIOR NETS are on TUESDAY and THURSDAY evenings from 6.00pm onwards.
